Could Excel Saga work in live action?

Like the question above, could Excel Saga work in live action series or maybe even a live action spinoff movies featuring Nabeshin and/or Pedro?

If Stephen Chow made it, sure.

Dude, NO. Most asian live-action is pretty unprofessional and an US production would probably ruin the whole thing. Plus, it would just look terribly silly with all the strange character designs. I'd say, some things are better left animated.

Having only seen the first three episodes, I'd have to say NO WAY!!! this show is way too zany and out-there that the only way it can be done and be done right is in anime. If an American animator had tried this, it would have failed miserably. If it was a live-action movie, it would have failed miserably.

I think it's great the way it is as an anime. Now, where to find it for cheap? *runs off to GameStop*

Renewed shall be Blade-that-was-Broken. The Crownless again shall be King.

No, live-action parodies just come off as retarded. Try watching movies by leslie nielson or scary movie 1,2,3, or 4 to see what i mean.

Dude, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were *beep* perfect.

But yeah, this would definitely not work in live action.

Excel Saga would just not be the same in live action. It's great the way it is.

Maybe, if written by Stephen Moffat, of "Dr Who" fame. They're both pretty bizarre series.
