what Vegas Hotel was the suite filmed in?

It seems to overlook the New York New York Rollercoaster, which leads me to believe it was the Bellagio. But I suppose it could have been a specialty suite at Monte Carlo - but I doubt it?

At first I thought it was the Venetian but that is located way down the Vegas Strip.

Anyone have any ideas as to the hotel?

The MGM Grand is across the street from New York New York. ( on South L.V. Blvd)

Also the New York New York Rooms look out onto the coaster as well.

In an interview on the DVD, the director states that the suite was copied from top suites in Vegas and completely rebuilt in studios.

Interesting. It's so real that I thought they shot the movie in an actual hotel room in Vegas. Wow, I'm more impressed now!

The hotel most likely to afford that view or the Statue of Liberty and the roller coaster would be directly to the south on the same side of the street... the Excalibur.

If you want to stay in a room with the view they had, you would need to build one, about ten stories above the Tram-Train station in front of Excalibur. The Tram that runs between The Excalibur, Luxor & Mandalay Bay Casino's.

The hotel room in the movie doesn't exist ( in Las Vegas ).

It looked like blue screen to me.

Interior scenes are typically shot on set, not on location. Outside scenes are usually shot on location, or at a suitable stand in. They most likely actually spent very little time filming in Las Vegas, other than the exterior shots that they needed to make it look real. You can very easily recreate a hotel suite on set. It's not really practical to shoot interiors on location.
