WARNING!!! DO NOT WATCH THIS ON FEARNET!!!

I was curious and it was for free but ALL the violence was cut out!!!! Also some minor instances of swearing were bleeped! I don't know what this is because Fearnet previously showed everything uncut--but not this time around! Anybody know what's going on?

reply

Damn, and here I was going to go check it out. That's pretty lame. Guess they could only pick up a tv copy or some *beep*

Looking at some other posts it seems the movie is rather non violent to begin with, so maybe it wasn't edited after all.

reply

Trust me it WAS edited! The movie ended five minutes before it was supposed to and I wasn't quite sure what the "final girl" was screaming about at the end. Also the swearing was quite obviously bleeped out. BTW--I read one post which said it was very violent. I tried to contact FearNet through the website (they might be unaware that they're showing a cut version) but I couldn't see any "Contact Us" link.

reply

Well, I decided to throw caution to the wind and ordered it. *beep*, it's free, I've seen plenty of horror movies edited for television.

And yeah, I would think it had to be edited....otherwise this movie was just pretty weak. Hilarious as it were, but still lame. I didn't notice any bleeping out of the swear words but I was also a little inebriated.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to see it on dvd one day, I actually kind of enjoyed it. Pure cheese.

reply

LOL--Yeah it was cheesy AND free--but it was rated TV-MA. That stands for an R or an NC-17 so I expected an uncut version. Gotta admit though it wasn't bad. I got a fondness for those stupid "killer in a summer camp" movies. I saw "Friday the 13th" when I was pretty young and I think that affected me:)

Fire can't melt steel or turn concrete to dust - Investigate 9/11

The concrete turn to dust because it fell or was impacted by endless tons of 110 story floor slabs, concrete is sand and adhesives, I can turn it to dust with a hammer.

-----------------------

AND... No one has ever proven it was melted .... it just had to loose strength and bow.

Firefighters grieve after deadly blaze

By GLENN SMITH

The (Charleston, S.C.) Post and Courier

Two-by-two, Charleston firefighters waded through the belly of the burning furniture store. Swirling black smoke choked the air around them and swallowed all light.

Sofas, chairs and bedding blocked their path at every turn. Darkness and confusion enveloped the men. As the blaze turned deadly, calls for help crackled over the fire department's radios.
One man prayed.

From another: "Tell my wife I love her."

Their tour of duty had come to an end. Nine lives. Gone.
The deaths Monday night at the Sofa Super Store marked the nation's worst single loss of firefighters since Sept. 11, 2001, according to the U.S. Fire Administration.

Capt. Ralph Linderman of the St. Andrews Fire Department said the blaze was the hottest he could recall in three decades of firefighting. "That fire bent steel like a wet noodle," he said

Wrong again and replying to every post I have with the smae crap won't make you right.

What is wrong, Just because you think you are making a movie that will not even get off the ground does not mean you don't have to back up your claim.

Dude I back up everything I say with a response of detail, not my deal if you're too dumb to be able to read it.

Right, Well back up the claim below!

Visual determination, well it has a pretty distict look and they arer not the only ones who said and saw it.

Actually it does not, why do you think they run tests, could you please point out where the FDNY has visual inspection training on melted metals, bi metals and aluminum.

Or back this up!

Fire can't melt steel

Big hint, how is steel made, shees.

Steel is CREATED in a different way dummy.

By fire!

Carbon based fires burn at no hotter than 1,750F (and even this couldn't have been reached in the towers) - steels melts at 2,770F - it's very simple :)

Prove it's steel! (Steel is singular script writer, glad to help) and why could it not have been reached in the towers, heck, you don't know do you, you are just passing gas and calling it facts or scripts.

PROVE IT WAS STEEL!

Hey dumbass PAY ATTENTION steel is not created by CARDON based fire (you jackass it could NEVER be as it can't burn hot enough)

What is Cardon? Shees.

The Chinese made steel with wood fires ages ago.

WAS A CARDON FIRE YOU MORON. Paper, carpet, tables, computers NOTHING THAT CAN REACH SUCH A TEMP (man you're simple)

Wootz steel and Damascus steel
Main articles: Wootz steel and Damascus steel

Evidence of the earliest production of high carbon steel in South Asia was found in the Samanalawewa area in Sri Lanka. Wootz steel was produced in India and Sri Lanka from around 300 BC. Along with their original methods of forging steel, the Chinese had also adopted the production methods of creating Wootz steel, an idea imported from India to China by the 5th century AD. This early steel-making method in Sri Lanka employed the unique use of a wind furnace, blown by the monsoon winds and produced almost pure steel. Also known as Damascus steel, wootz is famous for its durability and ability to hold an edge. It was originally created from a number of different materials including various trace elements. It was essentially a complicated alloy with iron as its main component. Recent studies have suggested that carbon nanotubes were included in its structure, which might explain some of its legendary qualities, though given the technology available at that time, they were produced by chance rather than by design. Natural wind was used where the soil containing iron was heated up with the use of wood. The ancient Sinhalese managed to extract a ton of steel for every 2 tons of soil, a remarkable feat at the time. One such furnace exists in Samanalawewa and archaeologists were able to extract steel as the ancients did 2200 years ago.

Crucible steel was produced in Merv by 9th to 10th century AD.

In the 11th century, there is evidence of the production of steel in Song China using two techniques: a "berganesque" method that produced inferior, inhomogeneous steel and a precursor to the modern Bessemer process that utilized partial decarbonization via repeated forging under a cold blast.

Poly products flunkie!

My god, you are talking poly products and how did this happen?

Fire bends steel less, no jet fuel needed.

Sorry, Your claim, show me a test that proves it was steel.

"The chinese made steel is fire many years ago" yeah but NOT WITH CARBON BASED FIRES BECAUSE IT'S NOT POSSIBLE! (sing with me "whaaaat a jackass")

What kind of fire is made from wood flunkie scriptwriter? I see why you are unemployed, you can not read. Lets see ...

Carbon based fuel includes wood and coal!

Do you really think that by showing qoutes from a couple of firefighters your going to make yourself right when we have SCORES of firefighters fighting our side?

LOL, Sure you do.

So much crap it's not even worth a reply ... eyewitnesses even told the /11 Commission it was steel (and not just 1 or 2 but nearly a score and most of these guys with experts in their fields)

Lets see one, and a test that proves it's steel.

I understand, In the mind of a bad scriptwriter, using burning wood to make steel, wood being a carbon based fire means you can't make steel with a carbon based fire.

YAWN! I get it, carbon based fires that are documented in steel manufacturing don't count as carbon based fires.

LOL Thanks--that's what I think too but I STILL want to see it uncut. I hate it when movies are edited--especially horror movies.

Maybe thy should have just cut the entire film up. It sucks...
