I just saw today on tv that Alex Albrecht is doing a tv spot for Dell.

hey shutup! alex albrecht was awesome on TSS... he was probably the funniest and coolest guy there along with Kevin Rose... I live in canada, so i can't see the Dell commercials on TV, but i went to his website and they have a new commercial for after christmas and you can watch it... its really funny.

Does anyone know what happened to Alex Abrecht on the Screensavers? I loved his personality on the show especially his and Kevin's skit for the caffeine drink and the interview with the Celebrity Poker host. That was really funny. Kevin is starting to get the boot off the show too. They showing less and less. I don't see Yoshi or Dan either. G4 has corrupted TechTV shows. It wasn't enought for them that they got rid of almost all the show on TechTV but now they are also replacing the hosts of my favorite TechTV show. I thought that stupid Kevin Perriera is only on for the holidays because the rest of the host were on vacation. But its already after the holidays and they are still not back yet. Im sick of Kevin Perreira. He should go back to that awful show he had before. When Comcast Cable bought TechTV and merged it with G4, TechTV has lost its edge and honest tech advice. Now the whole network is nothing but games and who plays the games. Who cares about the people who plays those games? !!! We only need 2-3 show about games. After that the whole thing becomes useless. Is this Comcast's plan to get into the media broadcasting market? They suck !!! I want Yoshi and Alex back !!! dangit. Kevin Rose should be hosting more often too and WTF is up with all the annoying ads on the G4TechTV site? argghhh
shareI love gaming shows and for the most part I love the shows on G4 with reviews, previews, news, and shows like icons where we get a look into the history of games, but the rest of the shows are pretty crappy. Especially ones where we see idiots who are obsessed with nothing but Halo or Madden. You cant have a whole day filled with just gaming shows you are right. Here is what they shouldve kept.
Call For Help (daily or close to it)
Screen Savers (daily or close to it)
Xplay (daily or close to it)
G4TV NEWS (basically the news show TechTV had but with more gaming coverage)
G4TV.com (Make it the daily show that people can call in it to)
Unscrewed (daily or close to it)
Sweat (Boring but probably needed for sports fans)
Fresh Gear
Icons
Players (sometimes has very interesting people)
Judgement Day (best show on G4 right now so keep it even though its pretty redundent when you have Xplay doing the same stuff)
Arena
Filter
Cheat (even though its crappy and there is not point since you dont have time to write anything down)
Cinematech (Give me some exclusive new clips from games not available on the net then ill watch it)
He went and made a successful podcast called "Diggnation" with Kevin Rose. They recently described it in an interview as the show they wanted Screen Savers to be. It's had a 6 year run with over 300 episodes and its coming to a close at the end of 2011.
