I know most films or tv series have threads like this but this show really is absolute, mind boggling crap. not only is it a huge insult to Arthur Conan Doyle but it's soooooo bad that it's not even worth watching for it's badness. The acting is awful, the special effects are terrible, the stories are just......oh, words fail me as to how bad this show is! What were they thinking of making this sh*t! Money i suppose!

clever writing, the acting is pretty par (for a tv show) Honestly? Some of the scenes look like they've been carefully story-boarded. The bridge scene at Barbarians at the gate?

The only poor thing would be the FX and that's not anyone's fault. The FX just weren't there at the time, remember how bad late 90s CGI was?

Clever writing ........my arse. i just had the misfortune of seeing a glimpse of an episode earlier on and it gets worse with each passing day.
