Doctor and consultant the same character?
So he works mornings in an NHS practice and then rakes in the money in the afternoons in Harley Street?
Or are they two different characters?
In the radio series, the doctor's surname is revealed to be Perlin in one of the sketches, whereas the consultant is referred to as Mr. Reilly.
The latter also doesn't appear to possess any of Dr. Perlin's countless eccentric qualities and behaviours.
