'Hey, you suck!'

Was that guy in the script or was he an actual bystander who walked by the camera and decided to be a d!ckhead? I doubt it's the latter, but if it is, Burns was smart to leave that in because that was funny.

It did actually happen, but not at that time. They liked it also, so they did it again without telling Krumholtz. His reaction is authentic as is his dialogue when he states, "Do you wanna start over" ...I think that is what he said...

Barry McMullen: "I like being a pessimist. It helps me deal with my inevitable failure."

Benjo18, how do you know so much about Burns' films? Just wondering.

Are you gonna bark all day, little doggie, or are you gonna bite?

He talks alot about the films during his director commentary. He has this special feature for all his films.

Right... I only have director commentaries in She's the One (damn those careless distributors in Region 2)...

yeah, he said they only met resistance in the village area. They had some permits to shoot on the streets but said they stretched the limits in the commentary track on the dvd. He said they got a couple of "you suck" type cat calls and decided to surprise Krumholtz with a recreation.

Another time when Brittany Murphy and Krumholtz are arguing on the street, she begins crying then walks up the stoop to the door which was locked. A resident asked her if she was alright and offered to let her inside and call the police. She started laughing and pointed out the camera across the street filming the scene. This was one of those shoot and run scenes wihout a permit.
