Is Brittany Murphy any good in this movie? how did she do playing ashley?

She acted like she was on drugs.

she did it well. period. at least not different from 'don't say a word' and '8 mile'

now, on stanley tucci character: dumping heather graham for brittany?? stupid, isn't it?

She give a good performance in this film . SDomeone rises high and people become cynical but I know what you mean

She did a great job. She was very very adorable in this movie.Very cute.

I think it's her best work, or at least the best work I've seen her do. I thought she was better in this than the other movies I've seen her in, which are 8 Mile, Clueless, Don't Say a Word, Sin City and Girl, Interrupted.

Being inconsistent is better than being consistently bad.

She's the best thing about this movie. Her performance really jumps off the screen.

She was a talented actress and will be missed. She brought an innate charm and likability to every character she portrayed.
