Shot in Orwo

This film was shot with the East German Orwo film stock. Don't you think it has a stunning black and white "look?" Very film noir. The opening shots along the railroad tracks look unbelievable. Another example of an Orwo film is Fassbinder's "Veronika Voss" (1982).

Very interesting decision. Orwo was really a quite specific film stock, and I believe by the late 90s already out of regular usage.
