First of all people who dont understand punjabi very well should not watch it.

Secondly the movie is like 30 years old and if you think this is going to be some good stuff, well dont watch it.

Third, if you dont know why you should watch this movie then dont watch it. I know this point doesnt make sense to many people but this is what you do when watching a movie. you have some idea that why u should watch it and then you enjoy the movie.

This movie was not about the story. It was not about violence. hell it was about everything that you will never go to watch a movie.

This movie made money on the box office for the dialogs of Nurri (the character from movie). And for many years to come the dialogs were quoted everywhere.

For example the dialog where the villain describes that how the wooden leg will create sound of Nurri nut has same place in movie culture just like "an offer that you cant refuse" in gangster movies.

Again if you thinking of watching it for some great story and editing etc. then you are expecting from chuck norris to have a oscar worthy movie.

The movie is purely about cheesiness and at the time when it was release, there was nothing like that in the market. So is it has some spot in the history of pakistani cinema, Yes. Is it absolutely necessary for you to watch it, No. But if you can ignore all the shouting and screaming and just watch only for Noori Nutt then the movie is absolutely bomb.

Again its not fot everyone specially not now.

This movie introduced a sub culture into Lollywood at that time. Its ran non stop for 2 yrs before it was removed by the pakistani army for its anti establishment vibes! This shows what strong influence it has. It managed to touch the punjabi psyche...I think you should view it as a different genre. Look past the cheesy storyline and gore and place it in the context of the late seventies and you would see it in a new light.
