Filming Locations
I havent seen the movie but can someone tell me if they actually filmed parts of the movie directly at the Hollywood Sign?
shareEven though this post is a year old Im still going to respond.The hollywood sign is oly shown once and thats while the film is coming on.But it does appear that it was filmed at the real hollywood sign.
shareit actually wasn't. they had to rebuild part of the sign for the film. you can no longer get that close to the real hollywood sign due to the relatively large amount of suicides committed there.
leon de winter (the writer of the novel and producer of the movie) actually taught a class i took this semester, and we discussed the movie (as well as "Hoffman's Honger", another of his books/movies) in great detail.
