So...what's the huge twist?
I want to know.
shareThe main character ends uop being the killer, nothing special
shareWow.....talk about an overhyped twist....that's so unoriginal!
shareThe movie is good anyway.
shareOkay then, I'll watch it anyway, lol!
I love slasher movies so this one can't dissapoint!
Yay!, at least you'll get too see a lot of gore, a little bit of suspence and good looking girls and boys (in case you're into guys)
shareGoodlooking girls and gore is all I need...thanks! Off the the video shop then!
shareThe ending isnt just a normal (main charecter is the killer thing) It was alot more suprising than Hide And Seeks ending. Great movie! This movie is just as good as the other German slasher The Pool which was also a good movie.
shareYou have to remember, this came out in 2000, before the whole main person being killer twist got out of control.

While watching this just now, I too was reminded of the (later) film High Tension (aka Switchblade Romance).
Also, it had references to Psycho, Friday the 13th, Scream and other slasher flicks.
Quite enjoyable.

I thought there were two twists, the main character being the killer and how the chick at the end survived the killings, didn't remember a thing and was in therapy like the main character was in the beginning and it gave the impression that she may turn into a serial killer as well.
”I like a girl who eats & brings it up. A sassy little frassy with bulimia”share
That explains the tagline on the DVD which reads "Evil Can Be Passed On"
shareThe twist is that she's the killer, and the kids with her are the ones doing a lot of the crazy things that keep happening to her around the house, as a prank to get back at her for being their tutor and keeping them from going on vacation.
Supposedly she snapped after this stuff started and reverted back to killing people, as she did to the guy who killed her parents on the night of their murders.
I was a little surprised by the fact that the kids were playing pranks on her. And I had thought that all along that she was the killer, but also that she had killed her parents to begin with. Frankly I think that would have made more sense maybe. Because I don't really get this whole "she's a murderer: because killed the guy who killed her parents" thing. Since when does killing a psycho killer who might be going to kill you, equal murder?
The fact that she killed the guy shouldn't automatically make her a psycho...although I can definitely see how the trauma of the entire night might do that. I think the movie made too big a deal of her killing the guy though. Just my opinion.
