I heard that if you died in you house and nobody knew and you had a dog he would wait at all cost until he got some food until he had to result in eating you, since no one is feeding him...but a cat....as soon as you died it would just eat you.
Besides, more people like dogs, let's be honest.

This is just stupid. A cat doesn't have the teeth to eat a human even if he's dead. On the other hand there are probably thousands of real stories where dogs atack, injure and even kill ALIVE humans. So just shut up!

Cats are just as loving as dogs, some even more so, you just have to know how to treat them right. Especially if you raise them as kittens.
And I have a dog too,and believe it or not, he gets along just fine with cats!

If I may disagree :)
Dogs are pack animals - if you don't take the role as the leader then HE will, you can't have an equal relationship
Cats are equal to humans - if you give them food and treat them nice, they give the same back (ever had a cat bring you dead mice or birds?)
Although I do admit a dog is MUCH more useful in a burglar situation...
