My faveorite movie in 1st grade, now a can't even watch 10 minutes of it

Cats & Dogs was my FAVEORITE movie when I was little like kindergarden and 1st grade (But I saw Jaws in 1st grade and that became my faveorite movie. The Ben Gardener seen made me jump across the couch the first time I saw that). I can't stand it now! Is that the same with you with this movie or another?

Same here. I totally loved it in elementary school, but last time I saw it I really hated it.

I saw this film as an adult (I'm 34) and loved it and I still love it. The key to the film is that it's a live-action "Looney Tunes" cartoon.

I found the same with the Power Rangers Movie; when I was 5 it was epic, now? Not so much. That said, I still really enjoyed Cats & Dogs, perhaps it's because I didn't see it when I was young? Maybe the flaw is in how it appears now compared to how good you thought it was then, rather than solely on the merit of the movie itself.

I haven't seen the first one in quite some time, but I remember it being kind of good. I was 11 or 12 when it came out.

I was adult when this film was released. Since it's a children movie it was dubbed to Norwegian which made it hard to watch. I just watched it again today in it's proper language and I must admit that the cat humour cracked me up. They're some of the most hilarious villains ever.
For a 2001 movie the effects look surprisingly bad, but the cats make it worth watching.

Don't tell me, it's no use to me. Tell yourself if you want to but don't tell me.

I loved it when I was 11, and still love it at 23. But I love animals and I just got a Beagle from my school who looks just like Lou lol

I enjoyed the hell out of it when I was six. I'm 20 now and I still enjoy it, though not as much. Sean Hayes did a hilarious job as Mr. Tinkles, though.

Hayes' interpretation of Mr. Tinkles makes this movie. He has some serious animation voiceover chops.
