Every time the show gets lazier, Jeff praises it as the show evolving

Jeff talking all about how not doing a meet and greet with the tribes and handing out the Buffs and the usual and just dumping them in the camps is actually the show getting even better and more mysterious. What? Man, you drop elements of the show every year and keep spinning BS that it's just getting better. Fans didn't like seeing the show travel all over the world, they just wanted the social game. Nobody's interested in the grueling physical challenges anymore. This dude is always telling us to love their ever lazier show production.

Roger that! Bring back the quizzes and food-eating contests! And maybe a contest where everything you have to do is really scary.

I really miss the Fear Factor "eat gross stuff" challenges.

I miss those too. I also miss the food auctions. They were super fun. Especially watching the reactions to buying a mystery meal that was a dud.

I think one of the issues with Survivor is that it's no longer in competition with other reality shows. They were always trying to out extreme each other. If something was popular, Survivor would get in on that angle. And vice versa. It was good for the whole genre.
