Man, Paul is a moron

How could he think it was a good idea telling the women he'd go with a male alliance if it happened but he'd be honest and tell them beforehand?

Did he not realize that he was telling the women that they were on the bottom and he had no real allegiance to them if the guys decided an all-male thing?

Did he think being honest was more of a sign of trust than what he was being honest about?

Did he not even understand the words that were coming out of his mouth?

That was really such a bizarre thing to say, and I don't understand how anyone could be that stupid.

People say stuff on this show all the time that blows my mind.

I think being on the top gives people a huge ego, and they feel invincible. They feel safe, so why not tell the truth.

You can watch the same person, when they are on the bottomand they don't have the numbers they'll act completely different. If the numbers flip and they feel like they are on top and have the numbers, their behavior completely changes.

On this show things can change in a second, I'd never be complacent.

But still, he's on top because of his alliance of 3 men and 3 women. When asked by 2 of the women if there's the chance of an all-male alliance since the current play is to vote another woman off the tribe, his answer is that they aren't doing that, but "If they decided to do that, I'd tell you 'ladies, you're on your own'"

It doesn't matter how safe you feel, I don't understand what situation could make you feel like it's safe to tell half your alliance that there's a chance you wouldn't be loyal to them.

What I'm saying is, he felt invisible, even though he isn't. He felt there is no way they'll vote me out. I think he believed since he's safe, why not be honest, they'll view me as trustworthy since I'm being so honest, and there is no way I'm getting voted out.

I agree, it was painfully stupid to watch. He told the girls if the guys want to go that way I'm with them and you're fvcked.

So why wouldn't the girls put together a plan to vote out someone they know doesn't have their back.
