60 minute episodes?

FOr IMDB and Wikipedia, it says that the show was 60 minutes but in America all the episode were 30. Did Disney really just cut all the episodes in half? If so, then that means that they must've left out a whole lot of crap. But I don't believe it.

I think wikipedia got it wrong b/c i remember that show and i don't remember it being an hour.

The pilot was initially aired as a one-hour episode, but afterwards, was cut down to two separate half hour eps. That may be what they're referring to.
