Finding a PS2 Version.

Does anybody know where I can find a WORKING PS2 version of Half-Life?

"Since when was any of this negotiable?"

I found one in a game shop in Bath (UK city). You can find it in second-hand game shops in the UK and Ireland.

Any in the US? I have tried many gamestops, but they all either don't have it or it is scratched up and won't play. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

You don't want to. It sucks. The controls are awful.

Not true. While the controls would be better on the 360 (Orange Box 2???), the controls work fine on the PS2, with (slightly) improved graphics and loading times from the PC version. Don't listen to kingsmikefan.

I bought one when it came out and it has way better graphics than the computer version. Definitly one of the best games ever made. LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH. and I have PC and PS2 version but even though PS2 version owns in graphics I think I prefer the PC version cuz i like being up close to the screen and using a mouse and keys

joysticks can never replace mouse+keyboard when it comes to fps

if somehow I could play cs or any other fps against someone with a joystick/controller from my computer, hands down computer wins.

About a month ago I dropped $26 for the PS2 of this through Amazon, despite the fact that I own it on PC. It had been years since I played the PC game and the game sucks on my current dell laptop. On Playstation, it was great. Aiming with a game controller instead of a mouse is hard, but Valve includes a new target lock on feature that makes it easy. I always loved the fact that you can save whenever you want (although you must save from the root menu if you want to turn your system off and resume play later. This game is so much fun to play. I can't wait to upgrade my compute and play Half-Life 2.

There are some diffrences between both versions such as:

-The grafics are supossably better on the PC versions.
-You can walk around on the subway at the beginning of the game on the PC version.
-The PS2 version also has the game Half-Life: Decay in it.

There are probobly more diffrences but I can't think of anymore.
Either way, this is one of the best games ever!!!
