Anyone still playing Half-Life?

After re-organising my room the other day, I found my original Half-Life CD. After installing, Steam detected it and set it up for me and before long I was back in Gordon Freeman's world, surviving Black Mesa.

Thanks to the Hi-Def textures that are available now, this game doesn't look as dated as it could do, and the set-pieces are still as much fun as ever. I've junst finished the section called "On A Rail".

If anyone's still playing, let me know! I can't be the only person left playing HL1 surely? :)

Yep, me too. Just bought it off of Steam for the nostalgia factor. Still the greates game made, and now even better with the Steam engine.

I'm waiting for Black Mesa to be finished.

It's finished and it's awesome, just as good as the original game.

From 1999 to 2006, I played it through at least once a year. That's dropped now to once every 2-3 years. Still my #1 game of all time.

I really try to play it through from time to time. The whole franchise is without doubt the best gaming experience of all time for me(Ravenholm rules)!!

Half Life is the first shooter game I ever played on my old Compaq PC and holy *beep* it was and still is, the best gaming experience of my life. It was so immersive and the atmosphere and levels were just astounding. I got the disk somewhere.

I don't really play games anymore though.

I reinstall it every now and then, and add the graphic's pack. I like some of the addons more than the original game. I really liked OP4 with Shepard. Azure Sheep and the Time Lines series were very cool. Sweet Half life was good, and Blue Shift was okay, but kind of short.

I would have loved to see more high quality mods for this game.

I ordered it! I can't wait!
