I don't think this is mentioned in the movie, but in the book, it mentions that Margie is 12 years old. It also says that the main characters are in eighth grade, so I was wondering if Margie is supposed to be a year ahead of herself or if she's in seventh grade; a grade behind Francis and the others.
Anyone know?

shareI think Donny was 14 (8th grade), but I'm not sure. If so, unless she was his twin (and I think it's stated she's younger), she's probably 13. She's probably not still 12.
