Americans and Russians...

hate each other because they are too much alike.

The evil looks different in both cultures, but the root is the same: indifference.

That's completely unfair and untrue, seeing as Russia actually is becoming more and more like the U.S. every day. If anyone's "dozing off" it's both. And there's an equal amount of "real, straight-to-the-point" films in both places. And, being Russian myself, I've met plenty who listen to Britney Spears, eat McDonald's (kind of hard not to, since they're on every single street now) and love 300. I nezachem tak orat'.

"I don't believe you. You're a liar!"

You're actually criticizing Britney Spears? Most Americans dare to criticize her, but Russians have no place to. Most of the boy bands in Russia make music in a similar style to hers (that Euro pop-rock techno sh!t). 300 is based on a graphic novel, something I am not sure Russia is familiar with. It's a comic book. Way to choose a "real" American movie, man! I'm glad not all Russians are not as ignorant as this.

very good, i agree too. they are like two companies , that compete against one another , tryin to overtake each other, but can't live without one another. no wonder they were allies in all the major wars. cold war, what cold war!

So true! Very well said, we're both Northern grumpy people with delusions of exceptionalism and Empire. We're both stuck in multi-ethnic international power-houses of countries, both racing to the kosmos.
