Mooted for UK release on R2 in July 2011 from 2entertain. They have made promises before, but this looks definitive.
sharelooks like2entertain have finally canned this.
On amazon, the actor who played "vaughan" on the show has posted a review saying he has contacted them directly and they told him they are not releasing it. They sent him a copy as he was on the show but it is not getting a normal release.
That is infuriating. I have been checking back for years to see if this is available and now this.
Disgusted with the BBC.

Sorry, I omitted to explain that I emailed 2 entertain (NOT BBC!) who on 15 June 2011 said:
Perfect World S1+2: We are assessing the viability of releasing this title on DVD but as yet cannot confirm it will definitely be published. Ridicolous, shows like this and 'Orrible were classics, unavailable on DVD (orrible is about £50 on the net) yet absolute crap like 2 pints of lager get released and constantly repeated on the telly.
