I love this series

I started watching it about 2 weeks ago and can't seem to watch anything else. I am 2nd generation from Scotland and it is a joy to watch a show from there.

I have to say I liked the dynamic of several characters which truly made the show: Hector/Killwillie Molly/Hector Golly/Duncan Golly/Lexi/Duncan Archie/Lexie ESP Archie/Katrina.

I truly loved how the Laird was struggling financially and wanted to continue the estate to make sure those that rented from them had a place to live.

I hardly ever cry watching a movie, but, when Hector died...I cried for over an hour. I wasn't expecting it. Everyone's reaction...the funeral...the aftermath. It was something.

I love Molly's transformation and finding her role in life as a widow.

I liked Archie and Lexie together but I didn't think there was real chemistry until Season 5 and then Archie left.

Duncan...what a hoot. I love how Golly is like a father figure to him and Archie. Golly really respects Duncan and lets him be himself. I am hopeful that Golly has a love interest in Seasons 6 and 7.

Overall, my favorite Seasons were 1-3 when they were all struggling and having to work together.
