I was lucky enough to catch it on TV once and it is amazing. So if anyone can find a U.S. release please post it.

This version of David Copperfield was given away free with The Sunday Mirror newspaper today, 20th August 2006. I haven't had time to view it as yet, but surely US DVD players will play Region 2 discs! I have three DVD players and they all play US discs. I live in England.

Actually very few US players play region 2 disc as they are region 1 players. But if you have a region free player that plays PAL encoded discs you'll be just fine and dandy.

To date this has been the best movie of David Copperfield. Can't beleive they were handing it out as freebies in a UK newspaper. Saw the promos on TNT but missed it so rented the tape from blockbuster. If I knew I'd not be able to get my hands on it again I'd have cloned it!

It’s rather surprising that it isn’t streaming for fee in the US on anymof the ad supported apps, like tubi or freevee.
