well actually he plays two parts in "the order" to. he plays the knight who started the order in the opening sequence

But they are not 'Twins'

There are a couple of theories that I have about why he wants to play roles where he is a good twin and the other half is evil and bad. Possibly they do not have to pay another actor the money to play his brother and he must enjoy playing those kinds of roles in his films.

Yeah no kidding! I kept thinking I had seen all these movies, but it turns out I only saw Double Impact.

I think Replicant is the best out of all his 'twin' movies.

you were born a pig farmer.
you'll always BE a pig farmer.
And now, you will DIE a pig farmer.

Maybe he gets double payments.

He might have the "lone twin" syndrome...

He gets to play two characters because he's just that Van Damme good!

Lol I agree, I haven't actively watched many of his movies and sort've wrote JCVD off as just another muscly guy. But watching him in this movie totally changed my mind. Could it be that they guy actually has some ACTING talent? I say, hells yeah. He should act in dual roles all the time so more people get to see just how awesome he is.
