Possibly the most underrated movie ever

It takes me back 30+ years to past Big Brother type fare; "THX 1138, Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World & Logan's Run!"  

I just watched it on Netflix and it was very good - a little bit of Nazism/1984 and Scientology all mixed into one.

What was good about it? Name some stuff. I'm drawing a blank with the exception of Sean Bean's very short lived performance.

I liked it when it came out and bought the DVD. Can't say I've ever played it again, but if I want to .... ;-)

It's a crazy but pretty good movie I think.
