No region 1 dvd. That's ridiculous.

I've been waiting for this movie to come to dvd. Ebert highly praised it, and I've enjoyed Bernard Rose's other movies. Where is the region 1 dvd?

The world's a hell, what does it matter what happens in it?

Ain't it wierd?! Region 1 is US right? yet this is a US movie! -A few weeks ago I watched 'Aberdeen' - A Euro (British/Norwegian) movie of similarly excellent quality only to find that it wasn't available in (Euro) region 2.... what did i do? - I downloaded the DIVX then decided to buy the R1 DVD on Amazon which fortunatly worked with Real Player on my PC.... Its like these distributors are either trying to keep their films cult or encourage piracy. Whacked!

I purchased my DVD of this film at Fopp in London, and it's playable both in the UK and in the states. (I'm originally from Ohio, and I brought it home with me...that's how I know, haha) It has no region code. Just make sure it says USA on the DVD cover art, and it should work in just about any DVD player! Hope this helped!

I bought a Region 2 copy off of eBay and made a bootleg of it for myself.
