This show gave me false hope for my social life. I remember thinking I'd be hanging out with my friends doing all thiscool stuff every weekend like this kids on the show. Lol nooope. And how did they even afford to do all that stuff? Weren't they like 13 without jobs? Especially Lor who had how many brothers...

I think you may be reading a little too much into it, its a cartoon, albeit a brilliant cartoon they don't tend to be based in fact.
But yeah i agree it made me think being a teenager would be awesome... it wasn't
I can see where you are coming from, but on tv they often glamorize everything and make real life situations look either better or worse than what it's really like. I used to think that everything on tv was exactly what real life was like growing up (being a teenager, high school, college, and so much more..) And for the record, lor and the rest of them were only 12, so they weren't teenagers yet.
