Cheezy as hell but I LOVE it!

I remember seeing this when I was about ten years old. They used to broadcast this on KHJ-TV out here in LA under the moniker "Go Go Mania" and I remember how excited I was that they listed the Beatles as one of the performers. What a disappointment it was to find myself having to slog thru the entire film waiting for the Fabs only to be blessed with a chinzy little two minute appearance at the very end. I was a dedicated hardcore Beatlemaniac during my early childhood, and lucky me it was during the '60s when all four were still alive and god forbid, still touring! Needless to say, I got to see the Ed Sullivan appearances first hand. Anyway, thanks to this wonderful bit of Pop fluff promo for Brian Epstein's stable of bands I was introduced a music world beyond John Paul George and Ringo. Terrific time capsule of an amazingly creative and yet still innocent era of music history and highly recommended!

I agree. This movie IS a time capsule. I don't really mind the lip synching. There are so many great things about the show that they overcome it. I wonder if there are other episodes buried somewhere.
