Sean Penn

The original film is far superior in getting to its point. The retired and ignored inspector found the killer and caught him in the act. The director of The Pledge totally discounted this and went on his own disfunctional way. Jack look bored or went through the motions of acting in this film. The ending was way off the path that the film went (or never went onto). In the orginal the audience was with the inspector in finding the killer. They were treated well. Sean Penn simply dislike the audience and disappoint them because all the time and energy put forth simply didn't come to fruitition. The movie flop.
