Where Can I Get This?

Hey, is it possible there exists a video of The Fear of God: The Making of the Exorcist? Where could I get my hands on it? I wish I had caught it when it was on TV! Please let me know...

Hello:

You can obtain this video by ordering from www.vidjunkie.com. Just look up their documentaries and you will find it.

Cheers.

It's on the DVD. Region 2 has a shortened version of the documentary, with presenter Mark Kermode completely removed, but as far as I'm aware region 1 can boast the BBC's original, full-length version.

I could be wrong about that, as I only have the region 2 disc :)

Wait im confused. Which DVD is it on? It's not a full feature on its own DVD? Is it just an extra included with the movie or something? I love The Exorcist, I wanna see the making of it

I read the Making of Documentary on the 25th Anniversary DVD left out an interview with Mercedes McCambridge who did the Voice of the possessed Linda Blair. It was on the version of the Documentary that was on BBC TV but not left in the version of the Documentary on the DVD.
Too bad she died last year because this might be the only interview about the Exorcist she did on tape.

So to get this documentary, I gotta get the DVD of the Exorcist? I watched the 25th Anniversay on the VHS a few yrs back and they showed a bunch of behind the scenes stuff and a few interviews. Is that the same thing? Or is this something else?

Wow Mercedes died, huh? But Linda Blair is still alive, rite? Does anyone know if she doing anything in show business? I guess I dont really keep up but never really heard her name around. I still think she did an amazing job in that role at such a young age.

The UK video is much better - it features Mark Kermode's into plus it tells you who is who at the bottom of the screen - the DVD version just has the cast and crew talking but if you didn't know who was who there would be no way of telling

I have posted the original BBC broadcast with Mark Kermode to youtube ;-)

FYI, this is not listed anywhere on the BBC website either (where the proper longest 77min version was originally broadcast)!

Criminal really, but I suppose they are yet to finish listing their complete 100 year archives online, even in by now.

Search Youtube where you'll currently find it in several versions, LONG version here:

Hope this helps! ;-)
