Probably my fave episode and really showed the creativity and clever writing of this show.

However, has anyone ever done a comparison of the two conversations to see how close they got everything?
Not just the two main actors having to recreate every movement and gesture, but also the background action, the actors walking past, etc.

I've always been curious as to how many times they would have had to rewatch the same scene so they could replay it out again as close as possible.

They did that trick in a few different episodes of "Coupling" where they showed the same events from different peoples' points of view. It is interesting to see how often they got it right. It's a mark of the not-so-obvious quality of the series

Having seen that episodes so many times, it is very close if not spot on.
