What year was the series set?

Does any fan know what year Centurions was set or if any episode mentioned what time period they were in?

I remember one episode where they mention a space shuttle piloted by Captain Steel crahed and went missing way back in the 20th century indicating it was at least decades ago or at least a century.

hmm... I watched the episodes over and over again, don't seem to quite remember that any of them ever mentioned what year it is set, far future I would presume
