Is it ??

It really depends on what kind of movies you like. Perhaps you should post a few of your favorites, then others will have a better frame of reference.

For my money, yes, it is worth watching; but that's because this one has some of the things that I look for and enjoy when I'm watching a movie.

Let's get dangerous!

Yes.

By which I mean, I liked it.

Fair warning, a friend of mine who is a big Brosnan/Bond fan really disliked it. I mean, its secret agent, its Brosnan, but it ain't Bond. That said, it looked to me like Brosnan was having a lot of fun skewering the Bond-persona, so if you like you're spy thrillers with satirical bite, I think you'll like this one.

I as a bondfan didnt have a problem with brosnan playing a spy. My problem with this movie is the slow and boring story and the plot which wasn't really mindblowing.

i agree with misterbreg ... i to am a big bond fan but i felt this movie was overall 'blah' ... not bad, but not that great either.

overall i say skip it as the is one of the weaker brosnan films i have seen.

bottom line = 6/10 (it's 'ok' , but out of all the brosnan films i have seen this is probably the worst or close to it.)

----------

bond movies aside (which i think in general he's at his best give or take), here's the movies i seen of his (Brosnan's) in the last 10 years or so...

-Dante's Peak (1997) = 6/10 (i liked it better than tailor of panama overall)
-The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) = 8/10 (maybe closer to a 9) (probably his best movie besides the bond ones as he feels smooth like he does in the bond films etc etc... im looking forward to the sequel this year! :) )
-After The Sunset (2004) = 8/10 (i think this is a pretty good movie myself, nice fun movie and has some funny parts)
-The Matador (2005) = 8/10 (Brosnan in a comedy that i think just works well! :) )
-Seraphim Falls (2006) = 7/10 (probably his best movie out of the 7/10 rated or lower ones)
-Butterfly on a Wheel (2007) = 7/10 (pretty good but on the weaker side of brosnan films if you ask me)

all-in-all his great movies (bond aside) i would say 'The Thomas Crown Affair' - 'After The Sunset' - 'The Matador' are his stand out films ;)

Worth watching once, maybe twice.

I thought it was an excellent film. I lived in Panama from 1996 through 1999 so it had special significance for me.

Yes its a very good one just a warning if you are a FemalePierce Brosnan fan like me.

Watch it early like 4:00 o clock to latter watch The Thomas Crown affair and two of his Bond films latter because it presents the most unlikable version of Pierce.
It takes off you image of your hot man you fantasize with just right after watching it so to get that ohhh Pierce feel again watch The Thomas Crown affair and all his Bond flicks after watching this.

I was on youtube re playing his romantic scenes of all his leading man films to earse Osnard of my mind. Even if would be oscar worthy I don't want him to play a guy like Osnard ever again.

No matter how it affects his range id prefer him to always play guys like James Bond, Thomas Crown, Richard Heigh, Petter devrau, Max and similar in all his up coming films and his face clean shaven pleaseeee
