I'm not quite sure why it is so low.

I just watched it (in French) and I don't get why it's so low either. It was nicely shot, and I was never bored. Not an action packed slasher with a high body count, but it wasn't awful by any means. How weird. I will say I was confused by certain scenes and situations, though.

I will never understand how people rate movies. Kind of like how every movie has a thread saying "worst movie ever."

Could it be because it's not that good of a movie? Interesting story, shot beautifully, but acted terribly and, in some instances, weird just for the sake of being weird.
