In this film, a few teenage characters say, "'[b]Orange is the new pink![/b]'"

In the film, "Legally Blonde", released three months later, Elle says, "'Two weeks ago, I saw Cameron Diaz at Fred Segal and I talked her out of buying this truly heinous Angora sweater. Whoever said, "Orange is the new pink" was seriously disturbed.'"

Both films were produced by Marc Platt for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, rated PG-13, both with language as a reason for the rating.
