This movie pretty much predicted today's society in general. Like creepily so. I'm relatively certain that this is a lot more true-to-life than people give it credit for.

At the time, the music industry was saturated by commercial manufactured boy bands and pop princesses, most of them would die down or mature in the mid-00's. Now we are getting a resurgence with the Justin Biebers and One Directions of today.

2011 dated top post, yet this top poster has no sense of music history as Josie and Pussycats was already a 38 year old comic book series and the music it emulated was the crass pop music of its era.
