Clips from the movie

So I have been searching for the movie that was featured in Temple's "The Filth and the Fury" in which Sting is having a bizarre homo-erotic relation with drummer Paul Cook. Was the movie called "Who killed Bambi" and was it ever officially released? Any insight would be awesome!

Also, does anyone know where the cartoon's in "The Filth and the Fury" were from? Were they made specifically for the movie or did Temple take it from another source?

I tell it was all a frame,
Ryan

The cartoons from the movie were originally made to appear in "The Great Rock N Roll Swindle" but many didn't make the final cut. (Apparently the people who animated the clips later helped make either the Wallace & Gromit movies or worked for animators Cosgrove Hall - I think!)
Not sure why as there are loads of scenes, animated as well as filmed that were totally omitted from the movie by Julian Temple.

Same with the scenes with Sting. They were filmed for the Swindle movie but were cut out of the finished movie.

The only official release for these clips are what turned up in "The Filth..." movie. Check out the trailer for "The Great Rock N Roll Swindle" (it's on youtube) to see a few more Sting/animated clips that are absent from both movies.
Also the original double soundtrack to the Swindle includes a few stills not featured in the movie.

The cartoon from Fury were taken from Temple's 1980 film "The Great Rock N Roll Swindle."
