What happened to the person that Sid smacked over the head with his bass guitar?

Was it the bloke they interviewed afterwards, because if it was, Sid must have missed him totally, because the "big end" of bass guitars are HEAVY and it would have flattened his skull!

That was his best friend they interviewed because the guy Sid attacked died!! Hehe, just kidding, I remember the bass guitar struck him at his chest or something. Don't do drugs kids!
