Did anyone else not like this movie?

I already basically posted my reasons for not liking it under the post about the girl who beats up Runt in the Republican bar. It just seems like all of the other posts are really positive, so I was just wondering if I'm not the only one.

I enjoyed it ~ some parts went above and beyond, i'll agree with that but I have to say that I enjoyed it. I'm also a die hard Cillian Murphy fan so that might have a little something to do with it :) I just thought he was brilliant in it!

"I love talking about nothing. It's the only thing I know anything about" BOP

There were times when I was watching it that I was thinking to myself "there is something about this movie I don't like..I want it to just be OVER"..but more than not liking it, I think I had a hard time watching it as points because it was pretty disturbing. I guess that isn't the same thing as not liking it, though.

I thought it to be risible. A terrible film dressed up in arty clothes that fails to be anything other than the shambling mess that it is.

But even though its a complete mess of things, its perfect for this story and i can't help but like it. That pub scene was messed up but it was a pub so everyone will be pissed and it was meant to be a rough place.

I guess its a film you'll either love it or hate it

I was glad to find this post since I just finished watching this movie, and I only liked the beginning. I thought it'd be more like "Love me if you dare", but it bored me, and seemed kind of pretentious.

I thought it was garbage. Couldn't understand a word they were saying either.

afier watching this movie once i thought the ame, that it was pretty bad but after watching it again recently i really appreciated the indipendent nature of the film and the natural great performances from cillian and elaine, also i was really suprised that elaine was the same person that is in harpers island, she does a great american accent

I didn't like it when I first saw it but it's on right now and some of the dialogue is interesting. It's supposed to be idiosyncratic or idioglossia. It's like a language that twins make up so no one else can understand them. In this movie it's like a combination of their own idiosyncratic speech mixed with various other dialects from different parts of the country. One of the main influences I can hear in it seems to be taken from how the traveling community talk. They use a mixture of English and Gaelic blended together and spoken very quickly and it's called The Gamman.

As regards the film itself, well, I'm still watching it for the second time but I don't think I'll think any more of it than I did the first time around.

I dont like this film also, i actually hate it. I dont know, but are we supposed to hate the characters, cuz they are so unplesant. The only thing i like is the soundtrack. 2/10

I found it really uninteresting and even annoying at times. The ending was just ridiculous.

Hey, i've seen the movie last night. Something about it i didn't like, it might be the unjustified, not punished violence and rudeness. But i guess it's just a matter of taste. I like the idea of the movie, a dream-like story, disorted reality but it was to grungy for me.
