DVD?

it wouldn't be bad to release it on dvd or at least have it shown again on sky 3 maybe - it will give a chance for people like me who missed it first time round to decide how bad it is.

Though from what i've read it has its good and bad points, maybe one of it's charms that hold it's few extremly cult fans of the series are that it's so 'bad' it's good in a silly and entertainly violent way.

red dwarf itself was naff at times, but always did it in style (as did blakes 7) and though I love red dwarf to bits I sometimes think blakes 7 ended in a way Doug couldn't bring himself to let happen to the Dwarfers - ie, they all die. which kinda makes the series loose a bit of the aclaim it could have had for a comedy series to end on a serious tone...that said blakes 7 could never be called a 'comedy' by any stretch of the imagination, despite comedic interactions between some of the characters such as Vila & Avon

That said and then ignored due to dubous relevance (my mind s rambling) The Strangerers could still be given another chance to be shown maybe as a filler show or something, but I don't think either Rob Grant or Doug Naylor will ever be as succesful apart as they were together with red dwarf, cliche, son of cliche, the 10%ers, etc... but I guess that doesn't really matter now...
