But when Timmy was a girl, he was still in love with Trxie--which makes Timmy a lesbian. Right?

reply

Technically, he wasn't in love with her then, but her best friend. He was only in love with her before and after. Remember how A.J was fantisizing about Timantha? Gay.

reply

Hey He thought that he was a girl AJ didn't Know

reply

well scientifically men are Lesbians and Women are Gay

reply

At worst, Timmy is probably bisexual.

I know there's the whole thing with Trixie, but at times, Timmy says things that made me stop in amazement. The most memorable of which is when he became ludicrously happy and exclaimed "Yay! Boys are fighting over me!"

I believe there were a few other similar scenes in which he say dubious things, but none were as memorable as the above (at least to me).

Timmy's Dad is gay? News to me. Why are folk so hyper-sensitive about sexuality these days? If I do something camp does it make me gay? No. Why should people have this constant task to prove they're not gay nowadays? It's never the other way round, is it?

reply

Nobody on the show is gay. It's just that some of the lame-o FOP writers get off on straight men flirting with other men and wearing dresses. They think it's funny. Go figure.

^ I know what you mean.

I was just sitting there watching the episode. I wasn't all that excited as it was a pretty common premise (instant popularity was the episode theme, correct?) but then Timmy just said that out of nowhere.

For a cartoon, the subtle adult jokes are not so subtle. I still can't get it out of my head when Timmy's father said "At the speed we'll be having fun, the FRICTION will keep us warm!"

timmy isnt gay but the voice for him is a girl

reply

At worst? WTF? Since when is being LGBT a curse?

The more people I meet, the more I get why Jane Goodall spends all of her time with chimps.....

reply

Nobody on the show, except for Mr. Bickles probably, is gay. The dopey writers of FOP think dressing men up in women's clothing is hilarious, and the occasional gay remarks are put in because to those aforementioned dopey writers, that constitutes "adult" humor. Pretty sad, isn't it?

reply

Butch and co are totally whacked in writing episodes. I remember one time that Cosmo mentioned about him dating a guy IN FRONT OF WANDA! True story.

"I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you MEDDLING KIDS!!!"

reply

why do people always assume people are gay because their voices are high!!!
gah

reply

There's a gay character: Sanjay.

Remember the chapter when Timmy's parents and friends were sent to Unwish Island. Sanjay said that he dreamed about the day Timmy would save him, but in his dream, Timmy rides a white horse.
-"Hey, where is the white horse?"
You know that's sad but true.

There we go again! Why does being gay have to be sad? I wish I had the balls to be that straight forward with my sexual orientation at that age.

The more people I meet, the more I get why Jane Goodall spends all of her time with chimps.....

My recent experience has shown that many masculine straight men have higher-pitched voices -- Such as David Beckham.

Then there's a slew of sportsmen here in or from Estonia: a goal defender and a forward, then I noticed Estonia's most successful amateur bodybuilder... Of course, his morning show segment took place in a gym, which was the first time there and so his voice sounded different to his past segments, which were shot in a television studio. They are all straight, as far as I know.

I've seen and heard several great examples of gay men having low voices at where I had a short working stint. It's not all black and white, mind you, but more shades of gray, although gay men do have a distinctive voice. This is just one element in at least superficially determining sexuality; looks, personality and mannerisms must all be combined to determine someone's gayness. And one must have a gaydar for all that.

I am afraid the day of your posting must have been very bad before you clicked on the submit button.

reply

Timmy and his dad aren't gay.

Besides, it's a kid's show. Why does it matter what their orientations are? Timmy's only 10 years old!

I noticed that you've been saying 'amigo' a lot lately. That's very Spanish of you.

Is this really my post you've been replying to (see in nested view:

Its one thing when people talk about so and so being gay or lesbian, but its another when they reference to a cartoon. I don't know about others, but this gay vibe has to stop. Who really cares? I figure if a person wants to be straight, gay, lesbian, or bi, that's entirely their choice - so as long as they don't try to change me. BTW, I happen to be straight, and I'm not changing. So please, lets talk about something else here.

reply

Actually being gay is not a choice.

And the hell actually cares if its gay or what?.

Would you be complaining so much if it were hetrosexual undertones?.

Get over yourselves pls.

Har har @ this discussion.

You guys are reading into the cartoon too much.

reply

Going back to the OP, why would you ask? You got the hots for him? Unless you're 10 and even if you are, that's just wrong.

Now, was the Pizza Delivery Guy gay? Cuz I am, he's over 18, and I DO have the hots for HIM.

My psychiatrist says it's OK to have a fixation on a legal-age cartoon character so long as I don't act on it.
