Botas is a most annoying little sh-word

I've watched the entire first season in Spanish and it's pretty cute. Then I watched the English version and found out I can't stand Dora's American voice. Anyway Botas (Boots) is so annoying all he does is jump around scream whatever Dora says e.g. "HELADO HELADO" What kind of substance is he adding to the show O wait I know because the very young kids don't understand what they're saying anyway so better to add in a hyper and funny looking monkey to keep their eyes glued
