WHY DOES SHE HAVE TO YELL EVERYTHING?
Every time I hear her talk, I imagine the words in caps lock.
"This must be the emotion you humans know as blood."

I know! My daughter has gotten to the point where she cries when Dora barks "orders" at her. I try to explain "Dora (or Diego, as he's seemed to have inherited this trait recently) isn't mad at you," that they're just excited and want her to play.
Doesn't help - it's like her little heart breaks. :( So, no Dora and Diego for a while, I guess -- explaining it isn't working yet, so I have little choice.
On the plus, she does count to 10 in Spanish now (which she can only do in English backward, followed by "blast off!" for some reason, ha ha).
