Odd that no one on this board has yet asked how similar the book is to the film. So, that's my question. From what I've seen on the board, it appears only Lemon Heart will be told, but I could be wrong, and the story could be terribly twisted into crap. Anyways, simple question, anyone who's read the book and seen the movie should be able to answer fairly well.
shareNot very. The setup and the romance with the sound technician are there, but play out differently, and a bunch of new threads are added, as well as references to RING and RING 2. Still a pretty good film, though. Really no more or less faithful to its source material than the first film was.

Aww, that sucks. I really liked how Lemon Heart was told. Shame.
I absolutely love the book but I am afraid has very little to do with the movie in question. The only few thing that they had in common was: there was a girl called Sadako she had powers, she was so beautiful to be almost unreal, she was socially awkward and she attended the drama company. Never the less I like the film and I would watch it again.
