Sadako duality
I just finished watching Ringu 0, having finally been able to see it with the North American release of the Ringu Anthology. I was a little confused by the entire aspect of the "two Sadako's", a good one and an evil one. What I gathered from the film is that when she was born she was just a single person, but then eventually split into two, one being the "good" version, while another the "bad"?
So is the scene near the end of Ringu 0 where Sadako is standing near the cliff meant to show the reconstituting of the two Sadako's into one body? Why didn't Sadako's father just kill the evil version rather then keeping her locked up and using drugs to stunt her growth? And what exactly did he achieve by preventing her from growing exactly in the first place? I can only assume this is better explained in the novels, hopefully someone out there can explain this a little better to me.
