I would have never guessed what happened in ringu 0, after finding out she isnt as evil as we all thought, but she also has an alter ego. which would then make u feel sorry for the sadako with no real threat, after all, the drama class nearly KILLED HER!
SPOLIERS --- dam right, if you read the book to you will see what a poor girl she was,. a sexual deformation, sucidal mother and father, attempted rape and a world that didnt understand her or her powers.....I LOVE THESE MOVIES (and book)

Actually, the drama troupe (not class, by the way) did kill her. When they brought her to her "father's" house, the energy from her evil part brought her back to life.
And to whoever mentioned Sada's hermaphrodite-ness in the book -- it doesn't apply to the movies. The Ring movie and book are quite different. (Sada dies in very different circumstances, the virus is more scientific than mystical, and many of the female roles are actually male -- to name a few differences.)
