The scariest movie I've ever seen

This is far and away the most terrifying and mentally disturbing movie I've ever seen. *****SPOILER******** The scene with the woman drinking tea backstage, and Sadako's twin sister's feet creeping into the frame still makes me wake up at 3am, too scared to move. And the music! It was so perfectly fitted to the action on screen!

I believe this was scarier than Psycho, The Exorcist, even Kubrick's The Shining. Anybody else agree?

Have you seen the first Ring. I thought it was much scarier, but Ring 0 was still really, really good. You should check out the first one if you haven't already, it's even better.

for that insomnia, have you considered psychological help.

I actually think the first Ringu was scarier. this one kinda focussed mor on the dramatical aspects.

I'd have to say the end scene with her coming around the cornerr was by far the creepiest. Personally, this one is my favorite of the ringu trilogy.

reply

no no, the second one is the SCARIEST! no doubt

I loved ringu, bit I didn't find it scary... I hope to see ringu 2 and ringu 0 soon.

I thought they were all really scary, Ringu is the scariest i think when you are watching it but Ringu 0 i think stays in your mind after you watch it forlonger because Sadako's character is a lot more relatable

So you would consider it scarier than Ringu and Ringu2?

F uck writing, I don't want to be a writer, it's stupid, it's a stupid waste of time.

Yes, Definitely. The moment where Sadako slides/side steps from round the corner completely trumps the climing out of the TV moment, IMHO.

Generally, I thought Ringu 0 was a better movie then Ringu as it told us Sadako's story, and was more drama-based than horror movie-ish, but still managed to be scary-as-hell.

I *really* didn't like Ringu 2. It felt like the director went all over the palce incorporating too many new themes and trying out different things. Plus, I didn't find the Sadako crawling up the well wall scary at all. She looked to CGI to be beleivable. I watched Ringu 2 by myself in the dark, something I couldn't have done for Ringu/0. :-S

Stupid Crap!?!
Ok, so the first Ringu wasn´t scary at all, it was horribly ridiculous! Number 2 was a standard sequel - nothing more, nothing less. I can´t remember one scene, imho.
Ringu 0 was definately the most dramatic part of the trilogy. And it also had the scariest scene in it, at the end where she sneaks through the woods and you see her in the background all the time, and then in the cabin.
But please, guys - who is really interested in Sadako´s lovestory? She is the evil girl coming out of the well when you watch her video tape. Also this scene was only scary in the remake, not in the original. So, interesting point about explaining her motives, why she does it, what happened to her. But, call me a stupid donkey, I didn´t get a real meaning in part 3! thought each question would be answere - huh???
Sadako? Two Souls? Twin Sister? Thought her father threw her in a well when she was a little girl, because she killed several reporters (scene in ringu 1). But in part 3, somebody else threw her in the well at the end. And then she wakes up in her boyfriends bedroom? But then she´s in the well again. Sorry, but could anybody explain me, as short as possible, the whole connection of the ring trilogy?

THANK YOU!

to be honnest mate this whole series aint that easy to get. Check out the ringworld website if you need help but best of all, read the book. I aint a big book person but it makes all the movies look a lil *beep* and helps bring all the loose ends together. The problem is that all the movies have poached ideas from the book but none have actully given the whole story and so it can seem a little disjointed

Mulukirruk well you prob like girl horror better or somthing it is kinda mental

I think I am rare in that I thought the love story was very important. It showed that good Sadako was a normal girl, with hopes, dreams, simple thoughts, and girlish crushes... to see Evil Sadako destroy her life is so heartwrenching it's almost unbearable.
