It was an ok movie. Got confused at some parts but it was a pretty descent movie. Can How are rasen and virus? if they are related to the series at all ill try to find it.
sharerasen is 'the other sequel', the one they made at the same time as ring and based on the second book by suzuki koji of the same name. when it flopped in japan they asked nakata to return and make a original sequel, not based on the books.
virus is 'the korean remake' but actually cofunded by japanese companies. it's not so good but if you're a fan of the ring stories you'll want to see it.
