Sucks !

That movie was one of the worst things that could ever happen to Ring ! (Ring 2 was actually the worst...)

The cool thing about the Ring is that it makes us wonder if the girl on the video is evil or just a victim. It makes us realise that sometimes people have two faces. But then they come up with the incredibly stupid idea of Sadako splitting into two ! (That was a spoiler...) Why ? What makes it logical ? It is pointless and stupid, it finished off the series (it was already critically wounded by Ring 2...).

Why couldn't they stick to Rasen ?? It was the perfect Ring movie ! (I don't know which one is better between Ring and Rasen, both are so great...)

I disagree. Ring 0 was more of a Shakespearean tragedy than a horror, until the very end, but even so, Yukie Nakama made us truly sympathize with her and that is no easy feat.

To surmise, Ring 0 scared the hell out of me, and even inspired me in some profound and creative ways in which I did create some amazing works soon after watching the film.

Ring 0 was underrated and so was Yukie Nakama's performance.

i also must disagree. It makes sense to have two Sadakos in this film. I see how it can be confusing, but this is my take. The first or "nice" form is what her father allowed to develop, while the second form was suppressed by drugs. This second form was so powerful that eventually it existed outside Sadakos physical state. That may be why no one else saw her when she killed that 1st girl in the drama troupe. As the movie progresses, we see Sadako's evil side gradually taking over, and, when she is brought back to her fathers house where the evil side of her was kept, the nice side is less able to stay in control.

and as for Rasen... i thought Sadako was supposed to be scary! why the hell did they make her all pretty? when she appears to that coroner all naked and kissing on him, he gets all freaked out. I just couldnt buy it =) seriously, though, i cant say i'm having difficulty deciding if rasen is better than ringu... it just isnt!

i do, however, agree that Ringu 2 was a waste of time. A slow movie with an weak ending

I saw the evil Sadako as a manifestation that was just growing out of control. I've never even seen 'Rasen' but I've read a plot spoiler on the movie and seems to make much more sense than 'Ring 2'. Ring 2 was ok but the story didn't really go with the first film. I liked the ending though, it creeped me out and still does send chills down my spine everytime I think about it. That spooky girl just laughing behind that guy? *shudders*

Rasen's plot does make alot more sense than ringu 2's, that's for sure. It follows the story of the original books more closely, unfortunatelly it was, in my humble opinion, horribly directed... but, yes, a far better plot than Ringu 2
